How Pre-Order Works, Step by Step

The process runs in four stages, from browsing the pre-order collection to the piece arriving in your hands.

The WhatsApp Consultation Comes First

Before any payment happens, you and Gemaee talk through the piece over WhatsApp. Gemaee shares pictures and full product details, so you know exactly what you're agreeing to buy.

This step exists so you're never paying for something you haven't seen. You can ask questions about the piece, request more photos, or raise any concerns before deciding to move ahead.

Nothing is confirmed until you're satisfied with what's been shared. Only once you agree to proceed does Gemaee move to the payment step and begin sourcing.

Full Payment Starts the Sourcing Process

Once you confirm the piece, Gemaee requires 100% of the payment upfront. This isn't a deposit or a holding fee. It's the full price, paid before Gemaee begins sourcing the item on your behalf.

Full payment is what commits Gemaee to sourcing that exact piece for you, rather than stocking it on speculation. Because the item is acquired for your order specifically, not pulled from existing Dubai inventory, payment has to happen before sourcing starts.

It's the same model Gemaee uses for personal shopping requests, when a customer wants a piece Gemaee doesn't currently hold and it has to be purchased directly from a boutique or sourced from another country. Pre-order and personal shopping both run on the same payment-first, source-second structure.

Delivery to Dubai Within 3-4 Business Days

Gemaee delivers pre-ordered pieces to Dubai within 3-4 business days of payment. This is the standard window for a completed pre-order, and it's the timeframe written into your pre-order agreement.

That timeline can shift due to factors outside Gemaee's control, including customs clearance and courier schedules. Neither of those is something Gemaee can guarantee down to the day, so the 3-4 business day window is the expected timeline rather than a fixed promise.

Authentication Before It Reaches You

Refund Policy, Explained

Every pre-order is covered by a signed Pre-Order Contract that documents the payment, delivery, and refund terms for that specific purchase. Here is what it means in plain language.

All pre-order sales are final. Gemaee doesn't offer refunds for a change of mind or general dissatisfaction once payment is made.

There are two exceptions. If the item turns out to be inauthentic or materially different from what was agreed, meaning a different model, size, or material than confirmed during the WhatsApp consultation, you're entitled to a full refund. If Gemaee fails to deliver within the agreed timeframe, you can cancel the order and get a full refund as well.

To dispute authenticity, you need written proof from a recognized independent authentication institution, such as Entrupy, Bababebi, or Authenticate First. Once inauthenticity or misrepresentation is proven, or once a missed delivery timeframe is confirmed, Gemaee refunds 100% of your payment within 7 business days.
