Personal shopping is Gemaee's service for sourcing a specific luxury bag or watch that isn't currently in our inventory. We buy it directly from a boutique or source it from another country, authenticate it before it ships, and deliver it to you in Dubai, typically within 3-4 days.

What Personal Shopping Covers

Personal shopping starts when you want a specific piece and it isn't sitting in our current stock. Instead of waiting for it to turn up on its own, you tell us what you're looking for and we go find it, whether that means a direct purchase at a boutique or sourcing the piece from another country entirely.

Say you want a particular bag in a color your local boutique never restocks, or a watch reference that only shows up at certain dealers abroad. That's a personal shopping request. You're not choosing from what we already have; you're telling us what to go get.

This is different from browsing our bags or watches collections, where the piece is already authenticated and in hand. It's also different from our pre-order listings, where we've already identified and priced an item for sale. Personal shopping is what happens when neither of those has what you want, so we build the order around you from scratch.

How the Process Works

The process starts as a conversation, not a transaction. You tell us what you want over WhatsApp, and we take it from there.

  • We share pictures, videos, pricing, and full product details with you before you pay anything.
  • Once you confirm the piece and the price, we require 100% payment in advance to proceed.
  • We source the item, either through a direct boutique purchase or from another country, depending on where it's available.
  • Delivery typically arrives within 3-4 days, depending on the sourcing location and logistics.

Full payment upfront applies because we're purchasing the piece on your behalf before it's in our hands. It's the same standard we use for pre-order, since personal shopping runs on the same underlying model: confirm the details with you first, then handle sourcing once payment clears.

Sourcing timelines depend on where the piece is coming from. A boutique purchase in the region can move faster than an item that has to clear customs from overseas, which is why delivery windows are typically 3-4 days rather than a fixed guarantee.

Personal Shopping vs. Pre-Order

Both services require full payment upfront and both involve sourcing before delivery. The difference is where the item starts.

  • Pre-order: the piece has already been identified, photographed, and priced. You're confirming a listing we've already built.
  • Personal shopping: the piece doesn't exist in our system yet. You describe it, and we go source it specifically for you.

Every Piece Is Authenticated Before It Reaches You

Nothing ships to you unverified. Every piece sourced through personal shopping is inspected and authenticated by Gemaee's in-house and/or third-party luxury experts before delivery, the same standard we apply to everything we sell. Bags and accessories go through Entrupy's AI-powered authentication, and watches get a hands-on inspection from our experts.

White-Glove Hand-Delivery

For the handoff, you can arrange white-glove hand-delivery for a premium fee. It isn't limited to Dubai or the UAE: hand-delivery is available worldwide, arranged case by case based on your confirmation and location.

It also gives you the chance to see the piece in person at the point of hand-delivery, useful if you want a firsthand look when it arrives or you're not in Dubai to collect it yourself.
